las vegas: where..
the hotels are really cool because the decor is made to look like a specific theme
there are really cheap buffets
and there are jackpot machines everywhere even in petrol kiosks!

the vegas hotel we stayed in, where everything is designed to look like new york!

grand canyon: where..
despite the lack of snow, it's really cold. i washed my hair before leaving the hotel room and while waiting for the sunrise, icicles started forming on my hair.
and there's nothing else really interesting.
