bidding woes are over, for now at least. xiang and i are really not fated for twc and asct this term but at least i managed to secure mgmt comm together with serene and xiang so i have four classes this term. my thursdays & fridays are free, that is until projects start coming in. now comes textbook hunting. i bought my biz law one today (sharing with xiang) since we're required to read the first three chapters by first lesson which is on mon! ): i'm in the process of getting the one for bgs but haven't done anything to get stats and mgmt comm yet. i don't even know which text we're using for mgmt comm!

today was my last weekday of my eight-months long vacation! that's terribly sad. i'm really not ready to start sch yet, it's so hard to gear up into studying mode after such a long break! during these past 8 months i've:

• worked and in the process, was forced to use my rusty mandarin which i didn't use for the whole of j2 and learnt all i ever needed to know about property tax and more
• gotten my licence!! (:
• had an awesome holiday with the girls in sydneyyy! loved every minute of it (: wished it could have lasted longer, nvm, next up would be NY to visit anna, this time with ah-ma and delia!
• watched a whole ton of movies. easily more movies than i've watched in the last few years combined!
• learnt abit of tennis (3 lessons somewhat considered right)
• made new friends & forged stronger relationships (so cliche, haha)

seems like quite a short list for eight months. which is like 2/3 of a year, and if you think about it that way, it does seem like a very long time. oh wells. goodbye freedom, hello sch
